Her long black hair shone in the early daylight. Her feet stood planted on the ground. She knew turning around would bring back so many memories, a childhood of loneliness. Would this time be different? The girl turned around to face the tall wooden doors leading inside the HIdden Leaf village.

"Konoha, I haven't seen you in a while... Maybe we should start over this time."

Konoha was a village of childhood for Saka from the early age of 8 years old. She came here after the destruction of her village. This time around, she was back after a long mission which extended into a traveling journey. Saka had visited, learned and aspired to one day be able to settle down without being the outcast. Her dangerous powers and solitude attitude towards anyone who tried to help her shadowed her from the rest of the village. The young girl was told she would live in a corner of the village; which just happened to be the abandoned Uchiha residences. A dark street that had not been walked in since that night, was now the only home left for Saka. Although she spent most of her time at the training grounds then at her own 'home", and just as much time in the woods rather than inside the village, the lifestyle suited her.

Saka walked through the gates slowly, looking around for curious children, academy students and adults that had nothing better to do. They were obviously not ecstatic to have her back. The kunoichi could feel the cold stares that bore onto her back in seconds. Saka knew she would be coming back without a welcoming aura. Some day, the kunoichi planned to finally be a part of a home where she would be accepted and wanted. Yes, in Konoha, she was useful for the village's defense, as she was their secret weapon against enemies. They had used her a few times while her skills developed and she became stronger.

Along the way, Saka had even made friends with the people, shinobi and a few samurai she met on her journey and mission. Being a distant and often misjudged girl from the start repeatedly resulted in turned backs and harsh talk but the ones that took the time to actually learn about her deep down became true friends to Saka.

Without a second glance at the people around her, Saka headed for her house inside the Uchiha clan's quarter. Correction: Saka's own personal quarter without disturbances. Now she could rest and hope that her many wounds would heal by themselves. Some time her chakra would come back also. Saka would rather not bother anyone with her pain no matter how much damage could be done by staying quiet. A saying her parents used to tell her was: "Silence is golden for a shinobi" and growing up, Saka stayed true to the advice of her parents. Therefor, her arrival couldn't make that much of a scene. She would rather help out when the village needed her help and stay in her corner the rest of the time. This was the system by which she lived with every day since the death of her parents. Yet her heart leapt every time she was asked to go out for a mission and help out the closest thing she had to a home: Konoha.
